I guess you know that GA has a high percentage of foreclosures. If you are 'waiting on employment' I wouldn't get in over my head.

Those who work with real estate advise posters to rent for a year --find the best area for your lifestyle and then purchase a home that you can afford.

It concerns me to hear anyone say they are 'Waiting on Employment'. You could have identified a specific employer and have interviewed for a suitable position or you could be overestimating your chances of finding employment once you arrive. You have to be very aggressive to find suitable positions in this city. You cannot 'Wait'--you must be the early bird to get the worm.

If you are just beginning a job search---
Go To:
ajcjobs.com - Where Atlanta Goes to Work! (http://www.ajc.com/hotjobs/content/hotjobs/ - broken link)

Others know of additional resources--good employment web sites and if you know what sort of job you want some might suggest specific employers.
