Announcement below from US Soccer. This is a pretty big deal from an economic development standpoint. Trilith continues to grow!

Awesome!

So glad it is on the Southside. And—Fayette County has a stellar soccer tradition.

Absolutely incredible news. Trilith is already the family's favorite local hangout spot, and it is far from finished. This coming to the area just elevates this part of Fayette even more.

The Northside already has a high-profile soccer training facility in the Atlanta United’s Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta in Cobb County.

And the Northside-based Atlanta United appears to be very happy about a South metro area like Fayette County winning such a high-profile soccer training facility.

The Atlanta United appear to be so happy about the news that Fayette County is getting the US Soccer Training Facility that the team put a link to the news story on the main page of their website…

U.S. Soccer selects Fayette County, Georgia for future home of National Training Center (Atlanta United)
