I read so much at that time that I can't recall precisely but it seems that this group or a related group started out in Tucker, GA during the 90's--that sounds like something that community would do--many Emory people and decent people of all kinds in Tucker, GA.
From a quick glance it seems you can contact them through the GA Crisis/Access System--that is where you begin if you need support for mental health in Georgia.

I can't really help you with legal and I think you mentioned a child with ADD, also not my area of expertise but I know how to research FYI now. Things seem to be getting a bit better for those who are facing overwhelming challenges--keep asking questions and we'll try to find some answers.
