Thanks so much. I did see some very nice houses on realtor.com but saw those sub divisions were over 500K for zip 30062. My son got a kick of looking at the virtual tours for the houses 800K and above. Are there sub divisions in 30062 where you can buy a 0-10 yr old home for 300-375K or so that are connected to the good schools. I've done allot of research and have a list of the good schools, I think, however every now and then I see a house in 30062 shows the Middle School and Hs as Marietta? Is this a school, not on my list I received and if so is that agood neighborhood or should I concentrate on hosues that show the pope, lassister HS divisions? Dont think we can afford the Walton school district.
Any info would be great, thanks.

The City of Marietta has its own school district (most of the rest of Cobb County uses Cobb County schools), and I have the impression that Marietta High School is very very good. Don't know about the Middle school.

Default The Home Depot House Hunt

Dakota85,

I smiled reading your recent post. I would like to think I might be just the person to help you in your search and relocation to this area. I am a real estate agent with Jenny Pruitt & Associates here in Atlanta and within the past 2 weeks was able to assist a Regional Director of Home Depot in his family's search for a home. We went through the very same questions as you have. We dealt with commute, schools, prices, location, subdivisions..etc. I don't know if you are still looking and have questions, but if so, you are welcome to email or call me. I would love to help you in the same way I helped this other family. I'm confident my other client would be a good reference for you as well.
Regards,
Joy Branch

Dakota,
Let us know how you make out, I may be in the same situation in the next 6-12 months. My budget is a little higher, but I was looking at Kennesaw and Acworth.
