thanks backfist, For me I have the career and a decent salary (for someone living on her own). And I also asked if she would like to go in as room mates, honestly I don't think she liked the idea to well. I just spoke to her and we both agreed to let me come down first and help set up and job and apt for her for her to fall into once she is here.
Thanks for all the advance negative and/or postive.

What she is recieving from SS does not cover all expenses to raise her children.
Of course not; it isn't intended to do so. The system would collapse if it had to do that for all. She will definitely need a job, but I wasn't sure from your posts that she had applied for minor children and widowed mothers SSI benefits.

Figment 07, since she only lost her husband 3months ago. Her benefits are not kicking it as of today, so yes she did on public assist to help for the meantime. All of this is new to me, I do not know how the system works far as SS payment for even public assist. I don't have kids of my own and from what I am learning now WOW is all I can say. Honestly if this was me I would have broke down a lot sooner. What I do know is the system is granting her w/ her husbands benefits. However there is a lot of red tape.
