Hi Everyone!

My Husband and I just relocated to GA and are currently in Tucker, GA. My husbands job is located in Tucker and we are expecting a baby in June of this year.

I was hoping for some insight on where to live. We will be renting for about 1 year and then be looking for a home to buy. I have been researching areas and honestly, its begining to make us feel like we are in a very bad place?...

I am even nervous about signing a year lease at an apartment complex being that I don't know which ones are the good ones.

We moved from Dallas, TX and am originally from Miami, FL. So, diversity is not a huge problem but we want to be in a safe and nice place.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Tucker isn't all that easy to love these days, is it?

Lots of young families started moving to Snellville about 18-20 years ago. I personally cannot understand the appeal of Gwinnett County (big box shopping and strip malls every mile or two), but there are many affordable swim/tennis subdivisions for growing families and they just seem to flock that way. Maybe for the schools. Take a look at Loganville, too, just a bit farther over in Walton County.
