We are traveling to Atlanta (Cobb County) for a week and are having trouble with getting a reasonable quote for a car. The airport agencies are quoting $600. for the week. Yikes !!!!!
Anyone help us around this outrageous price? We will be traveling 4/11 to 4/18. Thanks in advance.

Always had good luck with Priceline but not this trip. Looking for an agency outside the airport with better rates but also a means to get there from ATL airport.

There are a few Enterprise Rent a Cars that offer lower rates. One's in Smyrna...but you'd have to get there.

Thx we checked into Enterprise and they close early on Sat. Our flight gets in at 4:30 PM. Any other rental companies close to MARTA station ? Or maybe we can take a cab?

Hertz has best weekend deals. In their website they offer 50% off. I use coupons listed on the fatwallet's travel deals at
FatWallet Forums - Travel Deals . Search for rental car coupons. I am not sure if you know this but car dealership's rent out cars too. With car sales going kaput, they would be willing to offer deals especially when you are trying torent for a week. I did that once with toyota. Cobb Pkwy has tons of dealerships as well.
