Does anyone have any idea how long the commute might be between Kennesaw and Vinings or Smyrna? I will be working in Kennesaw and am considering getting an apartment or house in Vinings.

I'd typically be commuting north on I-75 mornings/afternoons and south (towards downtown) evenings or nights. Does that make the commute less painful? Are alternate routes even worth considering?

I take 75N in the morning from Vinings and 75S in the evening during rush hours and there's rarely any traffic. The only traffic is traveling on 285 to get to 75 (you may not have to get on 285 though depending on where you live). I say about 15-20 minutes depending on where you work (I go the speed limit btw ). On the very rare occasions that I have been to Kennesaw and taken the city route (usually on weekends), it took forever, too many stop lights. So I don't think you would have a bad commute living in Vinings and taking the interstate.
