I just recently saw a photo set of Juniper Rd in Midtown and I had no idea that there was an area that "city" in Atlanta. It looked real active and you saw people walking all around. Is this the most urban part of town, or are there other areas where you're likely to see just as much activity in a concentrated place? If I didn't know any better, I would of thought it was an area of some city up north.

I would also be interested in seeing any Midtown shots anyone might have.

Juniper runs parallel to Piedmont Avenue and Peachtree. Piedmont Park is just a block or two away.

Here are some pictures of Midtown Atlanta courtesy of Goggle: midtown atlanta - Google Image Search

Ugh, one day I'm going to have to build up the strength to make a post detailing exactly how urban Atlanta is, that way every time some goes "ATLANTA IS SO SPRAWLED IT'S NOT A REAL CITY" we can point to something. Like the fact that most of the City's population resides in the pre-Buckhead annexation area. For those not in the know that's just 36 square miles.

No pics but there is also East Atlanta, Kirkwood, Old Fourth Ward, West Midtown, the West End, Ashby Heights, Peachtree Battle, Poncey Highlands, and the Buckhead village someday soon again. There's plenty more but those are the biggies along with the one's above.
