Norcross, (Gwinnett)
Peachtree Corners Circle.
Is this a "sought after area" as the Realtor told me?
Middle school-Pinckneyville, High school-Norcross

It definitely is. It's a well established area, with very good schools, close in location, and a Trader Joe's!

Very nice. But like most things Atlanta, you don't have to go far to find iffy areas.

Absolutely, but the word is out and the traffic reflects it. Don't live here if your job is inside the perimeter.

You need to specify where on Peachtree Corners Circle. The area along Peachtree Corners Circle in between 141 and Holcomb Bridge Road is not a GREAT area. Its one of those strips that was developed in the 1970s and lined with apartments on both sides for about mile. Whoever allowed that to happen, I dont know, but as the case with almost every apartment complex, they aged quickly and now 30 years later are pretty sketchy and mostly occupied by low-income people.

However, once you get east of Holcomb Bridge, its a great area.

Exclamation Depends...

After 22 years in Atlanta law enforcement I'll tell you this:

You are not "safe" anywhere, any longer.

Stick your nose in the wrong area, and trouble will be waiting. After a while, the trouble will likely come looking for YOU!

Peachtree Corners? Nice. Quiet. Seemingly.

You are just across the train tracks from Norcross, which also appears "nice & quiet." Don't let quaint downtown fool you.

The area is thriving with gangs and gang activity. MS-13 is all over Gwinnett County, especially. It is one of the most violent street gangs in the world.

The violent crime stats for Jimmy Carter and Buford Highway, are staggering. Welcome to the third-world...

John's Creek and such? Sure. Beautiful. Lower crime rate, to be sure. Still, you are like a fort surrounded by bad elements. Gated communities are "gated" for a reason.
