I searched the forum and didn't see anything on these apartments. There is also Legacy at Walton Oaks for people over 55. I read up a little about it. It sounds like it is for mixed income people. Some on government assistance and also low income. Can anyone enlighten me? Is it in a bad area of town? Has anyone actually seen this place? All I see are good reviews. I looked at the website and they look really nice. However if it's in a bad area I don't want to live there. I'm searching for a two bedroom apartment. I don't want to pay more than $800/month preferable less than that. I've been in the Augusta area for about 1.5 yrs now. I'm a transplant from Ohio. I'm living with my sister until I can find a place. I just don't know the areas to avoid. Thanks to all who reply.

No comments? I thought for sure someone would know something about these. I'll just go check them out I guess.

Walton Oaks Apartments - Augusta, GA 30901 | Apartments for Rent
Yeah, the community is a safe place to live but it's located in East Augusta which is not the best area. Walton Oaks is apart of the larger gentrification effort to clean up East Augusta near the river.

Are you interesting in senior apartments or regular apartments?

Default Walton Oaks Apartments

Thanks NortonGuy. It doesn't have to be senior apartments, although I am considered a senior. I've also been checking rental housing.
