Hi, I’m hoping you can help me locate an apartment in Augusta. I’m looking for a one bedroom apartment in a nice complex within 20 minutes of either Ft Gordon and/or downtown. I’d like:
  • newer construction
  • an in unit washer/dryer
  • nice shared spaces with a pool and gas grills
  • Covered parking area, preferably restricted to tenants with card access
  • a responsive management company and a good safety record as far as break-ins and personal safety
  • good highway access. I’d rather be within an easy drive of shopping, restaurants, parks, etc than isolated
  • Immediate availability necessary

I can spend up to $900 for a one bedroom unit. I’m looking for a one year lease.
Thank you for your responses!

I haven't been in the apartment market lately, but the townhomes in Sweetwater Commons at Exit 5 in North Augusta are really nice and in a great little community. Brand new with a really nice clubhouse and pool area, as well as a dog park. 20 min on the nose to Gate 1 at Fort Gordon right on I-20, but still pretty convenient to downtown. Walmart and Food Lion within walking distance (as well as a couple sit down restaurants and plenty of fast food), washer and dryer hookups in the units. $935 a month, so it's a tad bit higher, but it does have its own garage and not just covered parking, and they're all brand new with really nice finishes. 2 of these units available now from what I read. https://www.sweetwatercommons.com/fl...1-downstairs-b

I sound like a salesperson for them, but my wife and I just really liked them when we drove through a while back.
