Can you give me some help on where I can find a nice place downtown? I'm relocating to Augusta from Charlotte. Augusta's downtown I could tell was on the come up when I visited recently. Saw crane's doing development around. I enjoyed myself while In Augusta. When I was walking up and down broad street. I went into several of the diffrent shops and cafes.

Why are you coming to Augusta? Many of my friends are from Charlotte... Depends on your price range, but you might want to consider the White's Building. You can PM me for more info

Check the buildings on broad as most are or have been turned. Into some type of residential living space.

I'm curious to know what the parking situation is for ppl living at White's Building.
I would say it would probably be my top choice of a place to live downtown if the parking is convenient and safe.

The whites building has private parking. Im not sure if its completed though. When I drive on the back road. Im not sure if that building being work on. Will be a private garage, businesses, restaurants, or all three.

Safe and inexpensive covered parking is a must for living downtown... I don't think I would want to park my car on the street in that area overnight.

There are several rental companies that rent lofts downtown - Haltermann Partners and Rex Development.

Parking can be an issue. Several lofts have parking either on Ellis or in gravel lots off Ellis...Not the best solution. We were told to just park on the street...Until you get a ticket for exceeding the two hour time limit.

Parking for residents is just one thing that makes living downtown harder than it needs to be...
