Can someone please refer me to a contractor/company that handles siding repair. Not sure if I should go with Mr. Handyman? It's not replacing the siding, but rather nailing (or gluing?) down some existing Hardiplank planks. It looks like they were nailed to the house, and the lower part of the plank was glued (?) and due to the weather the glue wore off. Anyone here have experiences with Hardiplank?

Thanks a lot,

Hardiplank is an excellent product, very durable and easy to work with. Almost any decent carpenter can fix it for you. I recommend Stjepan (Stephan) Boban 961-9926, nice guy, reasonable and easy to work with, does excellent work. He recently installed Hardiboard siding on a house I renovated for a friend in Allandale.

Not sure why yours was glued, that is not a recommended method of attachment but could work in some cases if one used the right construction adhesive. I'm sure he can recommend a good fix for you.
