I haven't seen anything mentioned since yesterday about when water service may be restored. I know they don't know, but they've got to have a ballpark - like will it be a day to two or a week? Has anyone heard anything?

Looking specifically for info on 78748. My mom needs to go home before I lose my mind.

They said 'most of Austin within 48 hours' yesterday afternoon, which would mean Sunday evening.

I saw that, but looking at the map, no areas have been restored today. They got central up and running yesterday, but then nothing since then.

Neighbors went to a friend's in Sunset Valley and took a shower, so parts of Sunset Valley were up this afternoon and were no with water yesterday.

Families in Jester reported that their water came back on today. As did another friend who lives southwest. I think they brought back some today and are continuing to work through the weekend.

the outage map isnt that useful. The areas that are showing outages are really just showing that there are some outages. I live in an outage area and havent lost water.

Agree but if you read the update below it that was posted at 5:00 PM today it gives a little better explanation.

We have low water pressure but enough for a shower and some people in our neighborhood still have none.

Thanks. But I still don't see where on that site we can see if her house has water. As of 10:00 last night, she didn't (according to her neighbor). I see that the South section on the map has water now, but since I can't zoom in on the map, I can't even see which section she's in (SWA, SWB, or SWC). She is right off of Brodie near Davis Ln.

You can't see that much detail on the map. It's more of an overview. It also varies by street. We've had some water pressure all along and people a block over don't have any. The best you can do is read the updates and follow where they are on full water restoration.
