Anybody familiar with The Triangle Luxury Apartments in Austin? I haven't checked into pricing but im assuming it'll be on the higher end. Is it in a good location? Close to downtown, etc?

thanks

Not sure about those...but if you're interested in apartments with an 'urban feel' but no downtown, you might want to look at the Domain. I was there a couple of days ago and was impressed with how nice they are, and there is a Whole Foods coming in. Don't know about rents, though.

They're in a very good location, about 10 minutes max from downtown straight down Lamar Boulevard. I live very close to the development. There is a great Central Market (upscale grocery store) a few minutes away and lots of good restaurants and shops. Sorry, don't know anything about pricing but here is the website for more info:

Default Triangle prices

I agree - fantastic location. I live in Rosedale, the neighborhood, just west of the Triangle, and think it's the most convenient location in town. The apts are pricy though - 1200+ for a 1 br, $1600+ for a 2 br.

The State House on South Congress is very nice. Some of my relocation clients have stayed there and they enjoyed it.

Default Other Apts

If you want to be right downtown, I'd look at the AMLI Downtown apts, Gables West Avenue, and 404 Rio Grande. They are all in the heart of downtown, near the 2nd Street Retail District & Warehouse District and only a couple hundred more a month than the Triangle.
