Hey y'all. I'm looking for suggestions on where to go for my anniversary with DH. Things to know- We like pretty much any type of food, from BBQ to Indian and anything in between. We don't want to spend too much, but want something delicious. We have two kids (4 and 5) that will tag along. They will eat pretty much anything, so a "kid menu" isn't necessary. We live in Round Rock and would prefer not to drive too dang far. Whatcha got?

I'm not too up on Round Rock restaurants. But how about Tokyo Steakhouse? Teppanyaki style places are fun with kids. Not cheap, but the food is usually at least good and it is easy to find something on the menu everyone likes.

If you're willing to drive a little, try the Momument Cafe in Georgetown. Its fashioned after a 50's diner, atmosphere is casual, yet has an upscale feeling. their food is great, mainly from local grown produce. They have great deserrts, and a kids menu. We went there last New Year's afternoon, quite enjoyable.

Main Street Grill - reserve the bank vault room.

Kids will like that, and it's pretty cool for the adults too.

I've always thought the same thing with Gino's but typically bite my tongue when it comes up on here. Been 3 times, very unimpressed every single time.

Cool, but super pricey. Wife and I went with a $25 gift certificate from restaurants.com (paid $2 for the GC)... total bill for the 2 of us was above $70 - so we still paid over $45. Food was very good, but not necessarily worth that much in my opinion.

Always a fan of Tokyo Steakhouse for us. Sure, it's kinda stereotypical, but whatever. It too is a little on the semi-pricey side. You're probably looking at $70-80 for the 4 of yall but at least you get the show. If you go on a weekday, you can likely get in with very little (if any) wait... it's often a ghost town.

We have been to Main Street before. Very pricey for what it was and not a place for kids. Has anyone been to the Melting Pot?

I like the Melting Pot but dinner is a minimum 2 hours and the hot dipping sauces could present a safety issue for younger children.
