Or anywhere along Lady Bird Lake.

I LOVE that part of Austin. It's a shock to hear an Austinite say they've never been down to the hike and bike trail!

I went down to Auditorium Shores/Palmer Events center the friday before the Austin Marathon to help out with a fundraiser.

Zilker Park? Last may for the last day of school

Zilker Park Proper (the playscape and west side of Barton Springs)? I dunno. Sometime last year.

The rowing docks? Last fall.

Hike and Bike Trail? Last summer.

Barton Springs Pool? I forgot. I haven't been to the pool itself in a long time.

Generally, I'd define the borders of the "Hike and Bike Trail" as MoPac on the west, Longhorn Dam on the east, Cesar Chavez blvd or the Union Pacific Railroad on the north and Barton Springs Rd east of Barton Creek on the South.

However, I walk in my neighborhood parks several times each month.

Weekend before last - flew a kite at Zilker, and had a picnic at the science center. I should use it more, considering that I'm sitting 230 feet from it right now.

We go down to Zilker park several times a year with the kiddos to play at the playscape, ride the train, check out the spectacle in general . Also, we almost always go down for the annual Zilker Park Theater production on the hillside.

One the greenbelt 2-3 days a week. At Zilker, at least every two weeks...easily once a week in the summer.

Yesterday. When the weather is like this, I want to walk the three mile loop or longer everyday.

We went down to Zilker at Christmas time to ride the train, so about 2 months and change ago. Went to Barton Springs last summer, usually go once or twice a year to Barton Springs. Went to Zilker Park proper last March (kite festival), went to Auditorium Shores last fall.

I do want to go down there and check out the new extension to the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge that goes over Cesar Chavez. Has anyone walked/ridden their bike over it? I'm glad they did it, but it is totally different architecturally from the drawings I've seen. How does it look in person?

I don't go to the hike and bike trail, but my husband does several times a week. I prefer to run or walk through our neighborhood. As for Zilker Park, etc., it has been probably a year. I went fairly frequently when my children were young, but we have several convenient neighborhood parks we tended to use more often.
