I am possibly relocating to Austin and have a baby grand piano I inherited from my mother over 30 years ago. I don't play everyday or for hours but are there apartments large enough and where I would not be disturbing the others? I have lived in houses most of my life so this is new for me. Thank you.

Most apartments have quiet time rules typically the same as the city 10-7 (i think) no noise. I would recommend sticking to daylight hours though. If your budget allows rent a house.

This. And I have found that the sound of musical instruments does carry in apartment buildings as a neighbor long ago played the flute and it was easily heard -- at least she played it well. Also, you'd likely need to figure in a piano mover and would be limited to first floor units. I agree, if you can swing it, do a house.
