I agree. You have to trust a study that places Killeen as the number 7 happiest place to work in the United States. And Oxnard, CA is #5.

I think it is interesting that survey is based on just 43,000 responses. I wonder how many responses were actually from Austin people. I assume the majority of responses came from large employment centers (the biggest cities). It seems plausidble that their assessment of Austin might be based on just 100 responses. Who were these people and how did they find them?

The same place they find EVERYONE for these surveys. In a mall, at 11 am, on a Wednsday. This is not a true "cross section" of society. These polls never are. I imagine they asked people that are traditionally unhappy in their jobs, low wage customer service workers. Their outlook is always bleak.

Its weird to like work hence Austin residents dont like their job
