Does anyone know of a place that sells rash guards for kids this late in the summer? I went to REI, Academy and they don't have them. I'm looking for a long sleeve one, which makes it even more difficult to find for 6 year olds. Is there a place in Austin that specializes in swimwear?

You can usually dig one up at Academy year round but it can take a search. Surprised you couldn't find one there. Try Goodwill. Otherwise, always available online vie Coolibar or Lands End.

I usually get them from Lands End. I am not sure if any of the Sears stores in the area carry Lands End in store, but I think they tend to hold up better and can even get more than a season's wear out of them.

I've looked everywhere because our little guy just went up a size but they seem to be sold out everywhere. It seems that if you wait until you actually need swimwear every place is sold out.

Try Tuesday Morning! I purchased a two piece set from them last year for $5 on sale for both pieces..! It was towards the end of the summer and they still had some left at my local store.

Have you tried calling Sports Authority and Dick's Sporting Goods to see if they might carry them? Or Target? They have the nifty store search.
