We have little tiny ants, about 1mm in length. We have never seen ants like these before. My wife is now throwing out two slightly used, practically new toothbrushes. As a side note, I said we could sterilize them with whiskey or something?

But, back on track, how do we control those little suckers? They are finding new holes right after I caulk ones where they are going back and forth.

You need to kill the Queen! Put out some ant bait, so the little workers carry it back to the Queen and kills her. Put it anywhere you see ant activity. Keep your pets away from it.

We have that problem too. Bait traps work pretty good. I also use my little dirt devil and vacuum up the ones I see. I figure that eliminates their numbers somewhat I think they are called "sugar" ants.

For some reason I seem to remember that sugar ants don't like cinnamon and won't cross it. Looks strange, smells great and works for temp fix.

I sprayed Ortho around the complete perimeter of my house, in and out, because each time I would block off one entry, they would find another. So far so good...one year later. Still have some outside though, but not in.
