I have been looking for a job for the past several months, and have had no luck. I am looking for a career change on top of that...which is what is making things difficult. So I am looking now for a position that will pay at least 60k, but not knowing anyone here, having very specific skills, and no industry knowledge I have put myself in a rut. I have a background as an analyst working for the Department of Defense for the past 9 years, and while this is a very broad post I thought I would ask for advice. I have a degree in business management, a background in problem solving, an interest in home design, drawing, am only familiar with AutoCad, am very computer literate, have experience with ArcGIS..etc. etc. Again, I know this a very general question, but looking for ideas at this point. Yes I am working with a career management agency, but am becoming skeptical if they are going to be a career counselor (which is what I was looking for), and are really just a resume writing company. I digress, hope all had a great thanksgiving...
