Hello Board!!! We've moved to Austin, and after just a short 4 weeks, we're really digging it.
Now its time for the all-stressful PCP and general medical search. I always hit up healthgrades, but the choices are overwhelming!!! We prefer a Male PCP. And also one that believes that insomnia and anxiety are actual health problems (I mention this because I was in smalltown, USA for a few months this year and didn't have much choice in doctors and I was told to drink warm milk and not eat spicy foods
But I digress...)
Dentist-wise, my husband prefers those that still use gas (don't tell him I told you, but he has meltdowns just thinking about going for a cleaning!).
If any ladies want to offer up a good Gynecologist, I'd be thankful as well. I had an amazing OBGYN in Houston!!! Dr Leeds-Richter. I'm going to miss her and her staff.
We're living at the edge of 78741 / 78704 (on that new walking boardwalk next to I-35). We would prefer not to go toooo far... but for a good doctor, some drives are worth it.
Anyway, I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments. Obviously, I know responses are subjective, but perhaps it will set me on the right path.
