I wanted to start a thread discussing this seat and all of its candidates. They had a forum a few weeks back that you can view here.

12 candidates and most, if not all, have never held an elected office before. I have to say that while all of the candidates are sincere most of them are not viable to put it euphemistically. Actually they kind of remind me of the second part of the quote below:

“What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.
And a sentimentalist, my dear Darlington, is a man who sees an absurd value in everything, and doesn't know the market place of any single thing.” - Oscar Wilde

I have not seen many endorsements for any of these candidates, but that may be because this 10-1 is such new territory. I was hoping Rangel would do well but he fell short, so at this point I'm supporting Valera.

Valera is the viable non-crazy in that race. Almanza is the viable crazy. 12 candidates, but non-crazies need to come together on this one, Almanza is worse than a joke.
