One positive about the white ones are many are led or cfl lights so they do last a lot longer and don't use as much electricity. Also the multi-color ones have a warning about lead in the coating if I remember correctly.

That being said, I like multi-color not monochrome.

If I didn't already live in Austin and know better, the endless arguing over the pettiest of 'issues' at this forum would lead me to believe that Austin is bursting at the seams ... with immature busybody adults incapable of minding their own business.

They make LED colored lights as well. I like the colored lights more than the white one personally. more character :-)
