I am trying to remember the name of a popular Austin televangelist. I can't remember his name but I know that my grandmother used to listen to him. This was sometime in the early 2000's. He may still be around but I have no idea.

I don't really know what his style of preaching was like. I just know that he was kind of famous and preached from a large church. I also believe he was fairly old at the time, so I don't even know if he is still alive. Or maybe he wasn't that old, but he did have white hair.

Thanks for any information.

I'm not aware of any big ones from Austin. TD Jakes is in San Antonio, as is John Haggee, and of course Houston has Joel Osteen.

Dr. Gerald Mann at Riverbend perhaps? My mother watched him on TV in the 90s and we attended for a short while when we lived there. In person he was different from what my mother got from his TV show.

Gerald Mann! Yes, that's him. I couldn't remember the name but I thought that "River" might have been part of his church name. I saw his picture too. Definitely the one.

Thanks
