Anyone have thoughts on Phase 3 of Highland Horizons (80' homesites)? Looks like they just announced pricing starting around $550K. Haven't had a chance to drive by yet, but seems like a fairly accessible location? We are in the process of exploring various communities in north austin/north of austin.

There are 50 and 80 feet lots available. The 80 foot lot are gated and closed of from the 50 foot lot. The 50 foot lot start from $340K and the 80 foot lot start from $540K. The price is high, but consistent with the Austin market. Everyone is moving here and home values are ridiculously high.

I live across the street in Phase 2 of Highland Horizon. I like the area a lot because of the easy access to Mopac, I-35, 183.

I also live in Phase 2. Convenient access to freeways/tollways. Wife and I both work north of downtown so commute not bad. In the middle of Round Rock & Cedar Park so plenty of dining/shopping options. And yes, Starbucks opened last week.

What Middle School & High School does this neighborhood flow into?

What will the monthly association fees be? (Note: if it's gated, they'll have to maintain (repair) the gates & the streets).

Feeder pattern is England/Cedar Valley/Round Rock. Phase1/2 HOA is $400/year. Gated will have a fee structure for gate/road maintenance. We've been in the neighborhood for 5 years and really enjoy the location and schools.

Yeah, i wouldn't pay $550k to live there. Not when there are other areas that have access to toll roads and just about everything else..

I believe the section they are currently building is sandwiched between the toll road and 620.
