Our family is headed to Austin on Sunday, where we will stay until Monday afternoon.
My wife and I have been to Austin a few times already and we usually just do the 6th street bar-hopping or hit up SoCo.
This time we are taking our 6-year old son, who has never been to Austin.
Want to get some suggestions on places we can visit as a family during our stay that everyone can enjoy.
I looked online, but did not see much in terms of festivals or live music events.

The Thinkery - Home - Thinkery

Central Market Café has a nice family friendly patio for lunch or dinner with good food and a playscape along with a little duck pond area to explore for a 6 year old boy. Music and crowds in the evening. In-Store at Your Local Central Market | Central Market

Doesn't sound like they predict a lot of good weather Sat-Monday, so I'd surely be looking first at indoor activities. The weather-guessers have been wrong before; so maybe a backup plan of outdoor venues as well would be good. Have fun!
