The mgmt is incompetent, the repair men don't repair...they break, it's a very noisy apt, and the place is a ----ing dump. My car was broken into at this complex. There was a major water leak that flooded my apartment and the apartment below. When asked to fix the problem the repair man exacerbated the problem. When it became an emergency problem, they refused to come out and fix it until the next day resulting in personal property damage.

This is just a one-time, one-person experience. You be the judge of whether or not you want to move there. Sounds to me like Rnelson had been through enough stress to make him/her complain about 300 E Riverside Dr. in Austin.

You might be able to get a good deal, I think that the whole complex is due to be torn down and redeveloped in the next two years (of course the credit crunch could change that). Very central location, lots to walk to, I live in that same general location, it is fairly safe, crimes of opportunity do occur, assault is very rare.

Edited to add: check the place out yourself, gauge the management, how you like the area, don't lease unseen!
