Wouldn't you know it, the storm cells busted up and split as they approached the metro. Getting quite a noise event up here; but not a drop so far

Maybe it can converge and do us some good. Congrats to those who got a bit of precip!

Boo! We had sprinkles. The kind that you see on the pool surface but don't even wet the ground.

With ALL of that thunder. What a bust.

We were in Georgetown and had a really good downpour. Glad to see it, even if we didn't get a drop back home.

We are by Brushy Creek Park. At one point it was raining in front of my house and dry in the backyard. It was just so spotty.

In this part of Hutto we had a light, steady rain for about 15 minutes. It didn't downpour but it was enough where I didn't have to water. Ground is still wet this morning.

To do this week: get a new rain gauge.

Our new pup watched me put out the rain gauge for the first time. Maybe I should have known by her look that it wasn't necessary. The grass held a few drops; but the walk and driveway never got wet...it disappeared as soon as it hit.

Good news...new rescue pup was unfazed by some pretty nasty rumbles of thunder...and the wax job on the convertible still looks good!
