After 15 years, my GP, Dr. Chevy Chase retired at the end of last year. I can stay with his office but I think this is probably a good time to switch docs. Anyone have a GP that they love? If so, post here or PM me if you don’t want to share with the board. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, sorry, I remembered I should have posted that info after the fact. West of Mopac would be best, Westlake to Bee Cave. My current physician is near the UT campus and I'd like to find someone closer to home since I'm usually home when I'm sick.

I have used Austin Regional Clinic for years. They have a variety of general practitioners. I have seen Dr. Ambler for some years now and, while I would 'recommend' him, I don't actually see him except once every few years, so it isn't based on much.

More to the point, they do have an extensive network of after-hours care, back up physicians for when you get sick and your own Dr. is on vacation or whatever, a very functional on-line schedule/test result/email communication web site. They have a location in Bee Caves, but don't know any of the Drs. there.
