This is pretty interesting. Very heartfelt plea for people to NOT move to Nashville, but to Austin instead! Ha.

How did we not do this first, though?

Whats funnier is most of the commenters seem to agree.

I've been trying to send people to Nashville instead of Austin for years!

If you want the Austin of 20-30 years ago, then head to OKC (really) or Fayettesville AR

Didn't we steal a bunch of Nashville's cops a few years back? APD sent recruiters there if I remember right, and offered a sweet pot of pay/benefits compared to what they were getting there.

Maybe we can send a charter bus of our homeless there to make up for it.

Maybe we can steal one of their highway "loops" that actually loop!

OKC is the new Austin/Nashville from what I've gathered. Too cold and conservative for me but compared to Rust Belt cities it probably has a lot of appeal, at least it's sunny and not as snow as up north.

The new Sunbelt city is probably Tucson from what I've heard.

Really OKC? Not Tulsa? I always thought Tulsa was a little cool and had some interesting architecture while OKC was a wasteland, but maybe things have changed.

The Federal Building Museum in OKC is worth a visit, OKC has really improved a lot.
