Elon Musk potentially moving to Austin. Lot's of chatter in the media about this. Where would he choose to live?

Downtown condo?
Westlake Hills?
On Lake Travis?
On Lake Austin?
Ranch in the Hill Country?

Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker moved to NC. Lance spends most of his time in Aspen. Joe Rogan moved to the Westlake area recently.

Used to be the reason that celebrities liked to live in Austin was because we weren't all "Ohhhhhhh, a CELEBRITY!" but treated them just like anyone else so they got to be "normal" unlike everywhere else. Sandra Bullock once commented about that, saying that when she went into her favorite coffee shop, they knew her. She was Sandy, who always ordered X, and that was it. Apparently Austin has lost that unique charm, especially based on the above, which means it may lose the celebrities, as well.

When it's the 2nd richest person on the planet who is worth 134 Billion dollars, it's kind of a big deal, not just for the neighborhood he lives in but the city of Austin. He could 'gift' an entire school campus to the district he lives in with just the money under his couch cushions.

Musk moved his foundation here too. And the guy that manages his family office. Could have a large positive impact on the local philanthropic scene.

That is a very good point. I don’t know what his giving looks like right now.
