Previous owners of our house used a sort of paint for ugly 1970s cultured marble to paint a vanity in our house and at first glance, you wouldn't even know it was painted. It looked like a new white vanity. Perhaps you can check into this if there are stains on the marble.

If it's just panels, have them replaced. Cultured marble is just a fancy term for high-grade plastic. It's cheap to replace.
