Hello all! I'm thrilled to have found this forum because I have already found tons of great advice on here. I would be very thankful if anyone could help me with my question. My fiance and I are getting married next June and are strongly considering a move to TX. She would be a stay-at-home mom and I work in the Investment/Brokerage field. We are open to living in either Austin or San Antonio depending on where I can find work. She has family in New Braunfels so we want to stay in that general area. Does anyone have any experience working for either of the above firms or can maybe make other recommendations I'm not thinking of? I am series 7/63 licensed and currently work in a call center environment. I would want a salary position, and wouldn't be interested in straight commission. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I heard stories of the Austin Charles Schwab office forcing staff to work 80 hrs/wk a year or so ago. Dunno if that was the life there or a temporary situation.

Leave your e-mail and I can answer any questions you might have. I work with Schwab here in Austin and know that this site is expanding. Some staff did have to work increased hours (not 80, I don't think) for a 2-3 week period last fall due to a corporate integration. That is not the norm.
