I was wondering if there are any big swap meets or Farmers Markets? Where are they located and what days are they held? What sort of things are sold there? Also, are they year round?

I think the Austin-area equivalent for the swap meet is called a Flea Market. There's one on Highway 290 East, just outside the eastern edge of Austin. It probably won't compare in scale or scope to the Swap Meets that occur in California.

City-Wide Garage Sale It's cool, right near downtown but it is more like a flea market as well.
