Anyone have insight or experience with the clairmont assisted living center? my mother may be going there. I'm out of state and don't know anything about it. If someone has a relative there or has heard about it, I would appreciate the info!
thanks!

I beg you DO NOT send your mother . MY mother is there im working to get her out asap. And even trying to get her out Clairmont is causing alot of problems. Im going to have to have emergency movers come in and have her llive with me until her new apartment comes open. they are under fed, i bring food to her. The elderly are unable to eat the food, pray your mother isnt diabetic. Two weeks ago they allowed a client to lay with an head injury, and passed away.

my mother will be moving from clairmont 2/6/09. For dinner tonight they had 1 link of greasy sausage and a vegi. Icecream. once again eldery cannot eat greasy sausage. And again i brought her dinner. She has lost 10 slbs since she moved to clairont 2 months ago.

Thank you for the info! I'm sorry I haven't checked this thread in a while, I didn't get responses for so long that I thought no one would!
I am not located in Texas, I have a sister who is, she's the one who arranged for Clairmont, I guess.
I will pass along this info to her. my mother is diabetic, I hope they know this, but if you say the food is terrible then I'm not sure how they will accommodate her.
