I would like to travel to Texas in March/April/May and would like to go to a rodeo/s and stay/work on a ranch for a month or so but don't know where to go.

Could anyone help with some advice on who I talk to about coming over and trying the cowgirl lifestyle.

I was also thinking about going to the Star of Texas rodeo or something similar.

I've been to Texas once and loved it and the people were soooo friendly, I'd love to come back and listen to some more country music!
Thank you!!

You might want to look into the Bandera area. Several dude ranches down there; maybe one of them would be hiring.

It is always warm . Actually, March often has a 'late' freeze, but is also often relatively mild to warm on average. April is usually starting to get into the wonderfully mild time of year.
