Default Stony Point High School

I don't have first-hand experience with a child being a student at Stony Point. However, you should know that in 2010, there will be a shift of students from Stony Point to a new high school that is being built on Gattis School road. Right now, RRISD is determining school boundaries, so there will be changes coming for Stony Point.

Round Rock ISD school boundary changes (http://www.impactnews.com/round-rock-pflugerville/inside-information/3159-round-rock-isd-school-boundary-changes - broken link)

Let me add:

I have heard great things about Round Rock High School, McNeil and Westwood. I haven't heard a lot of good things about Stony Point, but I expect that to change in the next few years. I was told that RRISD owns a lot of land near Avery Ranch and a new high school will be built in that area in the future. I don't know how old your kids are, but it is very difficult if you have elementary aged children to determine which high school will be the best in the future due to new schools being built and boundary changes. We will move as needed to make sure our child(ren) attends the best elementary, middle and high school and right now we are concentrating on elementary and middle and will deal with high school when that time comes for us.

My children are in elementary school right now, so high school is a long way away. They are set to go to Stony Point if we are still here then. I will do everything to find another school for them. I have heard nothing but bad things from students and parents of students. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, that is just how it is for me!
