Can anyone tell me about using propane in Belterra? I know when we looked there a couple years ago, that was a concern to us, as in cost, can anyone let me know if it has been outrageous?

Also about the Rooster Springs elem. school, i have read great reviews....any experiences?

Or if have any other areas that you live in, that you think are better than there with great schools, i'd love to hear about it...

Thanks

Craven,
I live in Belterra (also responded to another post), and I just averaged our propane for a 3000 sf home for the last 16 months, and it averages at $108 per month. Our high was $266 in Feb of 08, not sure what happened but that is when our pool was being built, and the propane being hooked up, so they probably leaked it out! The lowest in Oct. 08 at $42. We do heat our spa on occassion, but that isn't much. I guess it's considered high if the heat is really running. This year we had $211 in Feb, but then $95 in March, so really only a month or two of high, and now it's at $60. I don't know if they budget here on your average, but that may help.

I've heard great things about Rooster, and I think it's still an exemplary district. My daughter will start this fall so no first hand experience, but the neighbors seem to love it. Hope this helps!
Amy
