Amen to that.

And unless you have shovelled 3 - 5 foot deep snow off a 20 foot long double driveway, and cut through the banks left by the snow plow, you don't know how difficult, tedious and aggravating this can be. Throw in a little freezing rain on top to really help pack the snow down and make it super heavy, and you have a class one heart attack on the way.

You can avoid the heat by going indoors. If you don't shovel, you don't get out of your driveway. No avoiding it.

I'll take this 100 degree heat, though I will admit ... the number of continuous days is getting a little wearing.

But really I'm glad to know, in a way, this is one of the hottest summers ever. It's really HOT!

I moved here in June of last year and I remember about this time of year getting tired of the constant sun and no rain......but....man, I feel like I am in a weird dream that just keeps repeating itself. Not sure why they even have weather forecasts...it is always the same! oh...only 99 today! oh 101 today...I mean...
