Ok, don't laugh. I'm wondering about jackets. We're coming down to Austin next week. Checking online the weather has been warm, but then there was that storm.

So, I'm starting to pack and I'm wondering if it starts to rain should we still bring jackets or will we be too hot? Mind you, these are California jackets...they're fleece lined but not huge winter jackets.

I always OCD when I pack...sorry for bringing my obsession online...just wondering what to do!

Thanks,
Teri

You definitely will not need jackets. You will die if you wear fleece. It is not quite as hot as hades, but it will be getting close.

It's not cold rain. Austin97 is right...You will suffocate to death if you wear fleece of any kind! It's more like a muggy, rainforest sort of wet.

So....should I go out and get a thin wind breaker type of jacket to keep dry "just incase" or just run like crazy if it rains?

Re: the rain. Don't bring a raincoat or umbrella, either. If it rains it will most likey be too hard to really even go out in. If it is a light rain, go to Academy and buy a cheapo umbrella for $3.99 or so . Most of the recent rains will just snatch your umbrella and beat you with it......

Great! Thanks...even MORE room in the suitcase! Hurray! Got it! So far the weather online says it might rain on Wednesday...but that can change.
