So as many of you know, local homeless cross-dressing activist politician celebrity Leslie Cochran was hospitalized several months ago, as the result of a beating at the hands of people who obviously have no respect for Austin's weird image. Anyway, last I heard he was making a recovery, but the few times I've been able to go downtown I haven't seen him anywhere. Does anyone know if he's gonna be going back to doing his thing? Just curious.

He was out and about as normal during SXSW. On another thread about him here, someone even posted pics of him in drag during the event. Whatever happened to him - he's fully recovered, apparently.

I've seen Leslie a few times at Cafe Caffeine over the last couple of months. He looks and acts the same, so I'd guess that he's pretty much fully recovered.
