Been to Cabo Bob's? I'm a former San Diegan - where the San Felipe style fish tacos were popularized. Cabo Bob's is pretty close to the original.

To update this, Ruby's in Jarrell is now Ruby K's in Georgetown just off the Square on 8th street - and is usually packed.
A new offering is
The Hollow - well worth eating there.
Given my druthers in the area for BBQ I go to
Riders BBQ and Hot Sausage in Jarrell, now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (the website needs updating regarding breakfast, which is delicious) and their greatly expanded offerings (and twice the size location) for lunch and dinner.
