I'm going to Round Rock next month for business trip. Any good places
in town for fish tacos? How about hibachi or sushi in Round Rock? Thanks in advance.

Fish tacos. No. There are no places in Austin that do a good fish taco.

Sushi. Tomo - not in RR, but reasonably close.

Hibachi - The one by La Frontera, forgot the name.

Been to Cabo Bob's? I'm a former San Diegan - where the San Felipe style fish tacos were popularized. Cabo Bob's is pretty close to the original.

All 3 times I tried (Ben white/congress location), they were terrible.

To update this, Ruby's in Jarrell is now Ruby K's in Georgetown just off the Square on 8th street - and is usually packed.

A new offering is The Hollow - well worth eating there.

Given my druthers in the area for BBQ I go to Riders BBQ and Hot Sausage in Jarrell, now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (the website needs updating regarding breakfast, which is delicious) and their greatly expanded offerings (and twice the size location) for lunch and dinner.
