It's getting preposterous now. Rugby is supposed to be about sport, not unarmed combat. I think it's time to ban it on Australian soil (or at least keep it to the dressing room if these boys really must get their testosterone hit). This was an under 20s team for pity's sakes!

Is this rugby’s most aggressive haka? Juniors come to blows before match even starts

Even the UK papers are running the story

Is this the most aggressive haka in rugby history? Players have to be separated by officials at Australia vs New Zealand junior league game

For years people have been saying the haka should be banned.

Ban the New Zealand All Blacks haka, Fox Sports commentator Greg Martin says on The Rugby Club "what's so good about it?"

The haka rocks. I didn't see it in action, but the photos make it look like the Aussies were the ones looking for trouble.

The Haka is merely a challenge.

If it's merely a challenge then what's the point of having it and why object if people rise to that challenge? It seems to me that the opposing team is supposed to stand by meekly and watch. IMO it's simpler by far just to get rid it and return to what it's supposed to be about (playing the game and not gaining an unfair advantage over the opposition). I've yet to hear one good reason for keeping it, other than it helps the NZ teams to win, but I'm open to sensible ideas.

What's the unfair advantage? If I was playing against them, I'd just ignore it.

Are you making a case for or against keeping the haka at sporting events in Australia?

I don't see any reason to get rid of it.

If they want to keep it in New Zealand all well and good, but I see no reason to have it here.

I like the haka.
Its the best part about a game of rugby

Not sure if I missed something, but not really that big a deal?
