JGR announced that Matt Kenseth will leave Rousch and the #17 team and move to the orange Home Depot #20 next season.

I wonder how super cool Kenseth will mesh with Rowdy and Denny. With Matt being a former champion, will he be the #1 guy? (Of course that could change if Denny or Rowdy wins the championship this year).

Also interesting is the "feud" between Stewart and Kenseth. Will seeing Matt in the the orange #20 make Tony see red??

This has been expect ;not a surprise. The probelm will be can they actually satisfy/suport three people at the top as hendrick has successfully done.Rowdy and Deeny are not goig to play second fiddle well and may move o if they can't.The fued really is just smokes temper gettig the best of him in a tense time coming to the chase time.

Lol. Yeah, MK is pretty vanilla, but Lagano losing the Gibbs ride is not a big surprise as Texdav said. Denny is not winning a championship unless he pulls a Stewart.
In other news contrary to what Penske might have said about wanting Wingdinger back:

These guys don't have to interact with one another that much. They will have no problems. All three teams have equally prepared cars. There is no real hierarchy or pecking order. It will all be business as usual.

Lagano improves his ride and Kenseth lowers his...........
Let's see, Lagano is leaving a team that has two cup titles w/the car owner having a total of three to a team w/zero titles and never contended for a cup title. This is an improvement?

Kenseth is leaving a team where sponsorship is up in the air, probably is being pushed out like MM, won one of the two championships for Roush unlike the golden boy who may miss the chase, to a championship ride that has a full time sponsorship. This is lowering his ride?

I must be missing something.

I wouldn't be concerned with pecking order. Gibbs can adequately support all three cup rides, as he has in the past. The lack of success of the 20 is the drive, not the owner or lack of support. Not that Logano is terrible, but he has not lived up to the hype, and is still young and relatively inexperienced.

It's a good move for Kenseth! He will have the #20 back in contention!

Landing with Penske is not a bad gig for Logano either. Although not a top Nascar team, I am sure Penske has a very good operation going, as he does elsewhere.

You may not be missing anything at all! I'm just considering how well Kenseth has done the last few years in his car vs. what the 20 car has done. I think this is Lagano's best year and he still isn't in the top 10 ... I'm not sure if it's best year though. I do think the 22 car is better than the 20 .... Owners and teammates were not considered by me.
