Toyota never had a fan base because they never built any cars that were even remotely related to NASCAR stock cars. And the reason there are no Japanese fans at NASCAR races is because they have little interest in car racing unless drifting is involved.

I happen to also own a Japanese car but they don't belong in NASCAR.
And all those Americans working for foreign manufacturers in the USA they are working for 1/3 the wages that the American manufacturers pay.

You realize GM went bankrupt and Ford almost did as well. When things go bad, you have to tighten your belt and the decisions to pull out were made a long time ago. NASCAR is kind of like vanity advertising and there isn't real strong proof it leads to greater sales.
NASCAR could either kick out the Japanese and make less money with the lower amounts that GM and Ford wants to spend, or take the foreign cash. You really think they would have made any other decision.
