I like Hamlin's take:

“That’s a really good sign for their team,” Hamlin said. “I’m sure it’s a relief for Carl now that he’s relevant again.”

LOL relevant again

Yep I agree, I guess it's the way he did it. Can't believe I'd actually say this but it would have looked better if he'd shoved Kenseth. lol But yeah, he does seem like a good guy. But who knows, we only see the polished part of any of these people.

Denny Hamlin fined $25,000 for his comments at Pheonix, which I thought were reasonable and he was even trying to be politically correct. He says he's not going to pay the fine even if he gets suspended. I wouldn't either, NASCAR is going way overboard again to kepp the drivers vanilla as possible.

Carl Edwards is as good a driver as any of the others. The fact that he had a 70 race losing streak is probably for the same reason that a few of the other top name drivers have had long losing streaks.

If fans don't like Carl for childish reasons that's their problem. I find disliking drivers and trying to convince others to do the same very immature.

Is Carl back? He might be!

Compared to most Edwards is one in control guys.Heck one onlynhas to look at so many their team managers has to keep them away from the media.Well deserved win and I think Hamlin just showed his disappointment. There is alot of pressure to perform on any of the top teams.

Dejavu in Vegas IMO.
almost the same race as Phoenix. It was hard to pass inside the top 10 and track position was everything. I think Goodyear needs to bring in a softer tire and make 2 tire or no tire stops a big gamble.

In the end, happy to see Kenseth get a win with Gibbs.. I was pulling for Kasey but didn't mind #20 winning again.

One thing that aggravated me was the final 30 or so lap coverage by FOX. They rarely if ever left the 2 leaders who did little more than move in and out of .3 to .7 second gap. Kasey NEVER really challenged for the lead... All the while the 3rd and 4th place positions changed hands.. never saw it.. as well as the 7th and 8th. Truex was running 7th (I think) and ended up 9th.. I didn't know that until after the race.. argh!

Kyle Busch won the poll and was first in final practice. He's going to be really tough to beat tomorrow.
