NBC Sports started their portion of the NASCAR broadcasts with Krista, Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett. Today it was Krista, Kyle and Brian Vickers. Last week it was...someone else...I don't remember. So, what's happened to Dale?

Post race deal last night!! I was always a fan of Dales, and think he did a really nice job in the booth. He needs to be back there again!

DJ is certainly easier to listen to than most of the driver (announcers) they have today. It could be that I just don't hear him enough to grow tired of him..

I'm glad Fox is getting Larry McReynolds out of the booth.. But I wonder how that will change the dynamic of the play-by-play man, crew chief and driver that everyone seems to be doing now.. Will Gordon and Waltrip both be saying the same basic things?

Or, is this step one in phasing Waltrip out? He'll be 69 for next season.. How many more years will he want to do it?

I realy like Larry Mac but nobody massacres the English language like Larry.

Yea, I liked Larry Mac as well... certainly not hard to listen to. I think i would rather listen to Larry Mac than DW. I like DW but he just wears on you after a while.

Agreed, I'd take Larry Mac over DW. I like Larry and he's really good at explaining the wrenching going on and what's going on in the cars. Dude knows his cars. He butchers English no doubt but it's not hard to listen to. DW and Gordon will be interesting. DW's never been a Gordon fan and I think it's mutual. DW has one very sizable ego that Larry Mac never got in the way of - Gordon will be a different matter. We'll see. Hopefully Gordon brings some edge to the booth. The Fox team is too deferential to the drivers and owners. They kiss butt too much. One thing I like about Kyle Petty is that he'd not afraid to say it when drivers/owners are being idiots or acting like children.
